Aristoncavi has always been committed to ensure quality to its customers. With the coming of the ISO 9000 regulations, this commitment was certified in 1995 by CSQ, which is a leader among the certification bodies in the electronic and electrotechnical field, the certification of which is acknowledged worldwide through the IQNET network.
In 2003 the Aristoncavi's QUALITY SYSTEM has been up-dated according to the last release of the standard UNI-EN-ISO 9000:2000, worldwide known as VISION 2000.
This, however, was just another step forward made by the company in this direction because, since the beginning, Aristoncavi had already its own test and control room to ensure the quality of the product supplied to the customer.
Today as then, electrical and dimensional tests suitable to control the cable functionality are carried out on 100% of the production. Inspections on the cable performance (which are provided for by the applicable technical standards and by the customer's standards) are constantly carried out on the daily production; besides, when required, the test room is available to carry out final tests on the material in co-operation with the customer.
The equipment with which the tests on the cables are carried out is controlled by means of daily checks, the reference of which to primary approved and certified samples is ensured by Aristoncavi's co-operation with the main domestic trustworthy centers (SIT).
On the other hand, the relationships we have been having for a long time with industries such as ENEL, State railways, Telecom Italia, AEM, of which Aristoncavi is the qualified supplier, prove that quality is Aristoncavi's own production standard.
Aristoncavi seeks an international confirmation of the quality of its products too: the German mark VDE obtained for several products, together with the three different certifications for the Drincable* cable (Wras, ACS, KTW), prove the company's attitude to look for new forms of certification of the performances of the products in order to guarantee them in the most transparent form.
The quality of our products is also testified by the client directly: the ENEL approval on the RG7H1R 12/20kV, RG7H1RX 12/20kV and ARG7H1RX 12/20kV cables, obtained in 1999 after 2 years of tests on the product, as well as the AEM approval on the FG7OG7H2R 0,6/1kV and RG7OCR, show this in the most evident way.
We also have not to forget to acknowledge that, each time a positive result on a final trial under the supervision of the client's inspectors is achieved, the most transparent quality guarantee of our products is given.
The strong push towards the development of cables for special applications and worldwide markets has redirected the primary objective of the company to customer relationship management and product customization. Such an objective unequivocally leads to improving competitiveness and efficiency, paying particular attention to environmental protection and safety.
Aristoncavi has moved in this direction and in December 2008 has
obtained the ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM certification according to ISO 14001:2004 Standard. This is a further demonstration of the constant commitment of the company that line with the "continuous improvement" concept, has also got the AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) certification, that permits faster custom clearance procedures together with a priority channel for the shipments and better a relationship with Customs and Clients.
Besides showing the application of the quality principles through its own organization, Aristoncavi wishes to offer the utmost warranty of quality directly on the product. Hence, it results in the co-operation with the Istituto Italiano del Marchio di Qualità (Italian Institute for the Quality Mark) IMQ, thanks to which 29 types of cable have been certified during these years.
